Except bloody brilliant midi work. You've definitely outdone yourself with this piece.

We Came To Finish You!

"Right excellent piece."

date: April 6, 2009

Congrats on a piece well-done, dude. Robot Dinosaurs wouldn't have been the amazing bit of a game that it turned into without all of you guys. As to the music itself? This piece is just bloody brilliant. The mixture of midi with hand-played instrument was a really clever idea.

I wish it was an idea I came up with :( I was honestly content to leave it as it was without guitar but then I sent it to Nick and he went ballistic with it.

Best decision I ever made.

Thanks muchly for the review :)

People Die - Follow the Quest

"Love it."

It's hard to find good 'punk' bands that actually manage to hold onto that authentic punk rock feel(especially if you've pretty much turned into a bitter, grumpy old recluse over the years <_<). But just judging by the couple of songs I've heard so far, I'd rank you guys right up there with any of the big guys from the old days. You've got the chops, and listening you can just feel all the heart and energy put into the song.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna hop, skip and jump over to the website.

People Die - Punk Voter

"Mad props on this, mate."

date: February 24, 2009

This, I dig. There aren't a lot of big bands with the balls to make political statements these days, because they're all scared sh*tless of scaring off the listeners, so it's excellent to hear the little guys doing it.

Faith of War

"Interesting mix."

submission: Faith of War

It started out as a nice sort of ambient soup, but turned into something I could easily see as a theme in an RPG's overworld field. And then, towards the end, with the addition of more varied percussion, it turned into something I could easily see a bit of glowstickin' going on to.

I'm not huge on drum 'n bass electronica, but I liked this.

Metal Gear Delinquent

"Excellent song."

date: February 24, 2009

It's been years since I last played the game, so I don't really remember the official song, but this is definitely a good house beat in its own right. I could easily see a bunch of candy kids slow-glow stickin' to this in an electronica club.

PS:

Rap's a lyrical style, folks. Not a musical style. Just sayin'. <_<

Thor's Mjolnir

"Excellent power metal beat."

And while the actual lyrics aren't the greatest, they're not bad considering this was intended as a school project for a creative writing class.

But what I'm most surprised by is the quality of the vocal sound you were able to squeeze out of a mic that probably wasn't intended for musical work, considering you got it from Wal-Mart. I really would have expected more breath puffing against the mic-head and such, truth be told.

I'm glad someone reads those descriptions that I spend so much time writing.

Yeah I won't lie it took about 20 - 25 takes vocally to make sure there weren't or very minimal puffs of air. I can't even remember exactly how I did it. But yeah it wasn't even an actually microphone, it was one of the Logitech headsets for voice chatting.
